Lochaber Life - what we do, who we are
This page is really to tell you that whilst the Glencoe area a vast rural area of the west Highlands with its own unique identity, it is also part of Lochaber and as such is an important part of Lochaber Life. Most of the area is served by local government - The Highland Council, but travelling down the coast from Ballachulish to Port Appin on the road to Oban, local people and businesses are served by Argyll Council. The economic and business services are provided by Highlands & Islands Enterprise with offices in Fort William and Oban. Following some of the links on this page will take you to our Lochaber.com website where we have located more information about local government services.
